Proverbs 31 – Body of Christ

proverbs31-church

As I was praying this morning and listening to the Lord, He gave me a word that rocked my world. It may only be to me a new revelation but it was huge for me.

Who is the Bride of Christ?

I heard, “Now begins an ultimate revival in My bride, the church, to become what I have always desired her to be. My bride, My Proverbs 31 woman. It’s not that hard. I am so easy, yet she makes Me heavy. She fills her time with worthless programs instead of teaching My heart. Please read My Word with a truly open heart. Find Me in all of it and take it seriously.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” What does that truly mean? Where is your love over your deeds? Be reconciled to your first love. Remember how and why you gave your heart to Me and be about My business in the gratefulness of the power of My salvation grace. Extend it to others as it is My commission to you, My bride, My church. Be Me-represent Me well.”

Proverb 31:10-31

A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies.

11 Her husband has full confidence in her
and lacks nothing of value.

12 She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.

13 She selects wool and flax
and works with eager hands.

14 She is like the merchant ships,
bringing her food from afar.

15 She gets up while it is still night;
she provides food for her family
and portions for her female servants.

16 She considers a field and buys it;
out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.

17 She sets about her work vigorously;
her arms are strong for her tasks.

18 She sees that her trading is profitable,
and her lamp does not go out at night.

19 In her hand she holds the distaff
and grasps the spindle with her fingers.

20 She opens her arms to the poor
and extends her hands to the needy.

21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household;
for all of them are clothed in scarlet.

22 She makes coverings for her bed;
she is clothed in fine linen and purple.

23 Her husband is respected at the city gate,
where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.

24 She makes linen garments and sells them,
and supplies the merchants with sashes.

25 She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.

26 She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

27 She watches over the affairs of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.

28 Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:

29 “Many women do noble things,
but you surpass them all.”

30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

31 Honor her for all that her hands have done,
and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Interesting that Proverbs 31 has 31 verses. In the Strongs Concordance 31 means “My father is majesty”. Wow.

The Lord also reminded me of the parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14-21:

14 “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. 15 To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag,[a] each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. 16 The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. 17 So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more. 18 But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.

19 “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. 20 The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’

21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

These two go so well together. The church is being called to come up out of ourselves and to be the Acts 2 church again. We need personal and corporate revival to spark us out of complacency. Each one of us is being called to BE Jesus right where you are, here- Now. To make Jesus happy is my greatest goal in life and this revelation just gave me His blueprint on what that looks like. Thank you Jesus!!

Greetings

Welcome to “That’s My Jesus” – don’t you often wonder why something happens and it just sometimes is hard to be seen in a positive light. But after you pray about and later realize that something negative was indeed a positive thing and it helped you understand or amazed you. Well “That’s My Jesus”!
